This set of scenes is intended to depict a small and somewhat old
fashioned (or "retro" to use a more fashionable term) strip club.
I hope, eventualy, to provide several series of these scenes with
each series set in a different room in the club or else differing
in some other significant way.

The name of the club, Club Callipyg, is based on a back formation
from the word callipygian, which can be found in any good English
dictionary, which has been a favourite word of mine ever since I
stumbled came across it many years ago. Callipygian means "having
beautiful buttocks" - which, I think, is a rather apt description
of many of the iStrpper girls. I recently heard that Callipyg is
also the name of a gene in sheep, presumably so called because it
has an effect that farmers find attractive (in terms of increased
meat production).

The Club Calipyg scenes will, in general, present a sequence of
individual acts performed in a single room. I intend eventualy to
provide several series of these scenes, with each series set in a
different room. Currently there is only one such series, that for
room A.

==================================================================

Series A1 - Room A
==================

Room A is configured as a small, somewhat old fashioned (or retro
if you want a more fashionable term) theatre. It has a low stage,
working curtains and spotlights. There is an open floor area in
front of the stage and this is used for some of the performances.

The curtains are opened and closed and/or the lights raised and
lowered to hide the changeover from one performer to the next.

The name of the current act is shown on a blackboard to one side
of the stage.

Several versions of this scene are provided, these differ mainly
in the number of acts that are presented, and hence the length of
the cycle before acts are repeated. Using A, B, C... for on stage
and X, Y, Z for off stage the sequences of acts and cycle lengths
are as follows, with each act lasting 90 seconds. The | character
is used here to indicate the "cycle" boundaries, where a cycle is
the time required for all acts to be seen at least once with each
cycle starting with an on stage act and ending with an on floor
act. The pattern of acts is the same in each cycle, but different
permutations may be used.

With each act lasting 90 seconds the cycle times and the patterns
of perfomance within each cycle are as follows:

3 acts ABC|ABC|ABC|ABC|ABC|ABC|ABC|ABC On stage ABC
4.5 mins ---|---|---|---|---|---|---|--- On floor none

4 acts AB-BA-|AB-BA-|AB-BA-|AB-BA-|AB- On stage AB
9.0 mins --X--Y|--X--Y|--X--Y|--X--Y|--X On floor XY

5 acts ABC-BCA-|CAB-ABC-|BCA-CAB-|ABC- On stage ABC
12.0 mins ---X---Y|---X---Y|---X---Y|---X On floor XY

6 acts AB-DA-CD-|BC-AB-DA-|CD-BC-AB-|D On stage ABCD
13.5 mins --X--Y--X|--Y--X--Y|--X--Y--X|- On floor XY

7 acts AB-DA-CD-|BC-AB-DA-|CD-BC-AB-|D On stage ABCD
13.5 mins --X--Y--Z|--X--Y--Z|--X--Y--Z|- On floor XYZ

8 acts ABCD-FABC-EFAB-|DEFA-CDEF-BCDE- On stage ABCDEF
22.5 mins ----X----Y----X|----Y----X----Y On floor XY

9 acts ABCD-FABC-EFAB-|DEFA-CDEF-BCDE- On stage ABCDEF
22.5 mins ----X----Y----Z|----X----Y----Z On floor XYZ

where A,B,C,D,E,F and X,Y,Z represent on stage and on floor acts,
a dash indicates that no act is seen and | indicates the end of a
cycle.

The alternative 9 act programme

9 acts ABC-EFA-CDE-|ABC-EFA-CDE-|ABC-E On stage ABCDEF
18.0 mins ---X---Y---Z|---X---Y---Z|---X- On floor XYZ

and two similar 8 act programmes are not used because acts B, D,
and F would be shown less often than the other on stage acts. For
"fairness" among the on stage acts the count of on stage acts and
the period of on floor acts measured in act durations may have no
common factors. For the 9 act programme the on stage act count is
6, i.e. 2 x 3, and the on floor act period is 5, whereas for the
other sequence the on stage act count is still 6 but the on floor
act period is 4, having the factor 2 in common with the on stage
act count.

It would be possible to use sequences such as

      ABCD-ABCD-|ABCD-ABCD-|ABCD-ABCD-
      ----X----Y|----X----Y|----X----Y

in which one (or more) of the on stage acts is never seen but any
such programme of acts would be more mechanicaly repetitious than
those which have been used. It would also be possible to use one
or more of the on stage acts for the off stage acts, but it would
either be mechanicaly repetitious or an on stage act would often
be followed by the same performer off stage, or vice versa.

The simplest version of the scene uses only three acts, all being
performed on the stage, and tends to be a little repetitious. The
versions with higher numbers of acts are less repetitious and for
the higher count levels the diversity is increased by including a
swing clip at level 5 and table clips at level 6.

Cage clips are allowed, but not forced, at all count levels but
only for one act per cycle so their frequency will be low. If you
want to see more cage clips edit the clip nodes in the .scn files
to allow, or even require, them. You can also edit the clip nodes
to force or deny pole dance clips.

I have disallowed inout clips for these scenes. This is a pity as
the inout clips for older cards work well with the stage setting,
but those for newer cards do not. They almost work very well, but
they need something to act as an edge for the performer to appear
from or go behind and if one is provided (e.g. a curtain) then it
will interfere with the normal acts.

The 90 second act duration is, of course, unrealisticly short but
it is necessary to use short performances if the overall time for
a performance cycle is to be kept within normal iStripper limits.

Although the changes of performer that are scheduled by the scene
description files are hidden by the curtains or by darkness it is
impossible to hide the spontaneous changes that occur when a clip
ends, but this is a feature of any iStripper scene.

==================================================================

Other series of Club Callipyg scenes will, if implemented, follow
the same pattern as those for room A, but set in different rooms.
In addition there may be some individual special scenes that are
not part of the main series but are set in the same rooms.
